Anahita Delos Program Manager – Data Center Development Iranian-American Advocate | Foreign Affairs & Democracy Engagement
Anahita Delos is a Program Manager in Data Center Development and an Iranian-American democracy advocate with more than two decades of civic engagement spanning the 1999 Kooye Daneshgah student uprising, the 2009 Green Movement, the November 2019 nationwide protests (“Bloody November”), and the 2022 Woman, Life, Freedom movement. A former political detainee for pro-democracy activism, she has remained consistently engaged in advancing accountability and democratic transition.
Since 2019, she has participated in bipartisan congressional engagement with U.S. Senate and House offices, contributing to discussions on human rights violations, targeted sanctions, and policy responses to repression in Iran. Her advocacy emphasizes principled U.S. policy, cross-party cooperation, and opposition to diplomatic appeasement of authoritarian regimes.
In the United States, she has also served in political campaign leadership roles, managing strategy, voter outreach, coalition-building, and communications during a U.S. election cycle. Her experience in American electoral politics informs her approach to legislative engagement and policy advocacy.
In addition to congressional outreach, she supports diaspora mobilization initiatives and develops advocacy training programs for second-generation Iranian-Americans, strengthening civic literacy and countering regime propaganda through structured engagement with democratic institutions.
Her work focuses on democratic transition frameworks, human rights accountability, bipartisan coalition-building, and strategic diaspora engagement.
